The IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) focuses on the relationship between technology and society. Our publications, conferences, social media groups, blogs, and local events provide opportunities for everyone to engage and discuss the challenges and benefits that technology brings to our world.
SSIT’s Field of Interest is “To facilitate understanding of the complex interaction between technology, science and society, including impact on individuals and society in general, ethics, professional and social responsibility in the practice of engineering, science, and technology, and open discussion of the resulting issues.”
